On assessments that awere out of 35 questions, my lowest score was 16/35 (45.7%), and my highest score was 29/35 (82.9%). On assessments that awere out of 14 questions, my lowest score was 6/14 (42.9%), and my highest score was 12/14 (85.7%). The results show that my understanding of grammar has improved over the span of these assessments;, especially on the topics: subject-verb agreement, modifiers, managing clauses and phrases, and parallel structure.
These grammar topisubjects were unclear when the assessments were first administered, but, as time went on, I noticed that the most efficient way to acknowledge the learning gap was to reassess the problems that I did wrong. After each test, I would go back and rethink the questions that were obviously unclear to me. For instance, I often missed questions where the issue was subject-verb agreement. After noticing the issue and figuring out why I thought it was correct, I was then able to identify it much more accurately later on. Overall, I know that I have further developed my grammar skills by studying and taking part in these daily assessments.
