When I joined the faculty of pharmacy, I thought that pharmaceutical science would be more relevant to laboratory researches and the pharmacolocalical industry. do I loved to study such science, which has a very important role in healthcare obstacles. iIn the second semester of the first year my elder brother has died in a car accident towo days before my exams and this incident adversely effected on me so I couldn’t take the exams and repeated the year.

Classmates thought that I was not good enough when I repeated the year. They had been giving me strange looks, and that effected
me deeply. on me, iIt was really an awful situation, but it has given me the drive to be successful, so I have studied so hard sincext yearsnd handve achieved the first degree in the class in the fourth semester, and the second in the fifth and the sixth semesters. Even though I was living in a student housing that was crowded soand studying and revising was so hard, but I did my best and changed the perospective of my classmates, and gained my indignity back.

After I
have graduated from university, I have found that the work provided for pharmaceuisticals in Sudan was limited to community pharmacist ,. I worried about my future as a pharmacist  in Sudan, since the work here is as a salesperson who sells drugs or as a representative atof a pharmaceutical company ,. I feelt that this work is not relevant entirely to what I have studied ,. I have always been thinking about what I have learned in my college, theoretically  and practically , and how I spent more time completing experiments practically such as examineing the effects of a substance on aduring experimentals on animals .

I'm currently working at a private clinical center pharmacy responsible
fofr dispensing prescribed medicine , the counter of drugs , and also consulting with doctors about doses , side effects, contraindication……, etc.

During my work of pharmaceutical communities her
e in Sudan and in Saudi   Arabia , I have known that humans still need invention of many drugs and developing drugs by increasing the aeffectioveness and decreasing the side effects. We also need to invent new drugs to treat noncurable disease

The non curable di
sease, such as hepatitis.

I am a member of medical team working in Sudanese traditional herbal medicine used to cure hepatitis B, C, disease. I am responsible for following the clinical traials conducted on out -patients who receivinge the medicine as crude extract and collecting the results of blood investigation like PCR, liver enzyme test. I am working in co-operation with specialized members including a pharmacologist, biochemist, physician, internal medicine specialist, biostatics. I gained more experiences when meeting these members and discussion information like the process of isolation of component, they study the effect of a product in each parts of the body. tThis makes me curious toward learning more about drug discovery and development.

I don't likewant to stop inat this point. tThe pharmaceutical field here in Sudan as I have mentioned before, is limited , and I want to develop my abilities and apply what I have learned in my faculty and study more courses that are related to pharmacology researches and to work in a place whichere drug discovery is their primer objectives. I want to be one of the experts in this field in my country.
