We would like to request to extend the residence visa for AAA, who is serving for PPP.
We appreciate receiving a lot of support for our community from PPP in BBB since 2000 in BBB.
PPP differs from the other organizationorganizations. Their expatriates are always staying here and closely monitoring their project site, and they have a good relationship with the local government offices and our communities.
BecauseSince AAA has a lot of experience in SSS, she knows our country and our situation deeply.
Current 3-yearsThe current 3-year project has been built by her, and itthe first year has just completed the first yearcome to an end.
To achieve the goal forgoals of this 3-year project, she wishes to stay here at least another two years.
We also would like her to stay as a manager of PPP and to achieve the goal toher goals and develop our communities in BBB.
As you know, the BBB district is located in a dry area, and we have been affected by the droughts.
Most of our agricultureagricultural irrigation facilities arewere abandoned during the civil war.
Therefore, our production amount of paddy is lower than thein other districtdistricts, and our farmers haven’t been able to use their lands effectively.
PPP renovated more than 40 irrigation facilities in BBB.
Those renovations contributed to the increase in the production of paddy and improved the farmers’ incomeeconomic status.
They built two medium-scale rice mills in KK and MN.
InWith this 3-years3-year project they are promoting organic farming, and so far they got aobtained good resultresults.
NextIn the next 2 years, they will try to put their organic vegetablevegetables in our local markets by collaborating with CCC and support the farmers to obtain the PGS certification.
We need AAA for the bottom-up of the agriculture sector and to empower our local economy.
Hence, we would like to ask you to extend her visa until the end of the project.
