Abstract
This study aimed to identify the image of war and armed conflicts that the Arab countries have witnessed since the beginning of the twentieth century onin contemporary Arab painting, and used the descriptive and analytical method to answer their questions by analyzing a sample of the official works of a group of contemporary Arab artists in a number of Arab countries,. The results of the study showed that the most prominent feature in the works of Arab artists that dealt with the topic of war and armed conflict was a focus on human suffering due to war and conflicts, and the results indicated the emergence of the impact of war indirectly in some of the works of contemporary artists, through the techniques and expressive methods used in the works.
