When I first received this assignment I honestly thought it would be quite hard for me to come across five words I had never heard of, until I started some of my assignments and also listening to Dr. Anderson in the chapel.
Here are some of the words I found.
1. Imperative, which means necessary or vital
2. Convocation
means a large formal assembly of people
3. Diplomatist
Isis an old fashion term for a diplomat
4. Unprecedented
means never done or known before
5. Realization
means the act of becoming fully aware of something.
While thinking about some of these words, many have more than one definition, and rediscovering each one is always a new adventure. When you start to focus on trying to find new things in life to learn, our eyes become open to receiving new knowledge every day.
Over the past couple of days, my academic growth has been imperative for shaping the person I will become in the future. Syllabus shock hit the first day, but the realization that every day must be a step of faith is something I have learned this week. The continence of steady spiritual and mental growth will be a great base for a life that is equipped to serve the Lord.
