In my future career, I hope to work as a multimedia journalist reporting humanitarian crises, global issues, and bringing awareness to the society, as a responsible and knowledgeable member of the media. I believe the programme can positively influence in my future, and contribute in the professional I am becoming. After a couple of months in South Africa, I could understand better the cultural connections between Brazilian and South African Cultureculture, and the vivid political cooperation some countries maintain with Brazil. After some years in the US, I could understand better the society better and the economic power of aits world potency. If I have the opportunity to explore Europe and experience the diverse environment offered at Aarhus University, I am sure it will contribute forto my understanding, as a latinLatin woman, of diversity, globalization and contemporary societies from different perspectives. Traveling to a different university for the second year canwill help me to build a worldwide network. Considering my wide interest in developing countries, the War and Conflict specialisation is a unique opportunity to improve my knowledge inon specific world matters, which canwill help me to achieve a career in thea humanitarian field in the future.
