Safe guarding is paramount for all those health care professionals who work with children. It is mandatory that their skillsskill and knowledge is regularly updated through on going trainings on the subjecttraining, as stipulated by Safeguarding policy (2018). The policies and procedures are also for the safety for staff members, not only for children and young people. Ofstead is also known to set up guidelines for safeguarding procedures and policies. theThe settings are very similar. It is a staff membersmember's duty to make sure that the policies are met at all given times. If guidelineguidelines in the policies are not followed accordingly, actions are taken, depending on who the alligationallegation is against. When an incident takes place, it is important to notify the local authority. As soon as the local authorities are imformedinformed, the investigation areis carried out with immidiateimmediate effect. For example, if anyone in management has been accused of any aligations allegations it is a staff member's duty to take action. thisThis is the whole part of the guidline statedguideline which states it is everybodyseverybody's duty to follow the policies. ifIf a staff member is accused of any incident anything then it is the appointed safeguarding officersofficer's duty to take action according to guidlinesguidelines in the policies.

There are different symptoms and signs for every individual involved all. All of them are indicators which cause concern in the frame of refrencereference concerning safe guarding.

All signs which are mentioned below, are signs of physical abuse. If a child is being physically abused and this would cause concern,. If this happened the correct measures or steps would be takenfurthertaken.
