Re: Mrs. Sally Fletcher; DOB: 03/10/1993
Dear Ms. Stevens,
I am writing to request a home visit to monitors monitor Mrs. Fletcher’s condition. whoShe was admitted to us on 25/03/2018 and was diagnosed with endometriosis. She underwent laparoscopic surgery and is scheduled forto be discharged today.
Her medical history includes painful periods for three years caused by endometrial tissue outside the uterus, which formed a cyst in her abdomen. During hospitalization, she responded well to conservative treatment, and her recovery is encouraging. Postoperatively, she has been advised to keep the incision site dry and clean.
Moreover, driving is prohibited when on analgesic analgesic; hence, she needs someone who can drive her home uponafter she is discharged. She can resume driving 24-48 hours after the final dose of analgesics and shoudshould be monitored for constipation, urinary retentionbandretention, and pain control while taking the narcotic.
Mrs. Fletcher may resume her normal diet today and is encouraged to increase her fluid intake. She is also encouraged to walk as much as she can tolerate. Sexual activity can be resumed after two weeks.
