Lauren Washburn is a professionally certified teacher with 15 years of experience. She has a vast area of knowledge as her undergraduate degree was teaching Pre-K through grade 3 and she holds a Masters Degree from Boston University specializing in mild/moderate Special needs for grades 5-12. Lauren has taught in The Newton Public Schools for 11 years as a Special Education teacher and in the Westwood Public Schools for 3 years. Lauren has spent the majority of her teaching career working with high school students, either in small groups or one on one, focusing on executive functioning/organizational skills. In addition, she has spent time teaching middle school mathematics and high school English.
