The ending of Fahrenheit 451 was mediocre. ThroughThroughout the whole book the author built up a great story, andwith so many events occurredoccurring to catch the readersreader's attention. I was very interested in the book and the build up was great. When the climax occurred, I was very drawn in and wanted to keep reading. WhenBut, when I reached the end of the book, I was disappointed in the ending. The very last words are, “When we reach the city” (Bradbury 158). The ending doesn'tdidn't really clear anything up for me,. I felt there wasthat there were a lot of questions unanswered questions and I didn't feel like I gotreceived all of the information possible to know the outcome of all the events that occuroccurred. I get that they are going to rebuild the city that had just been destroyed, but I just didn't feel satisfied at the end. I would change the ending to have Montag tell us what happened to his wife and, where Clarissa really went, and ifwhether the the city was ever rebuilt.
