As an educator, I focused on catering to the social, emotional, and educational needs of the students and on establishing trusting relationships with diverse students. The ten years that I spent teaching at a public school in Dae-Gu, South Korea, helped me build a solid foundation for my career as an educator. For three years, I was part of Wounded Worrier WARRIOR?? Project at Pennsylvania State University as a research assistant. Currently, I am a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) and have been developing mentor-mentee relationships with students at Central Michigan University.
