At University, I am the Secretary of LSE Bright Futures Society, and have coordinated with corporate investors and organiszed career events for over 400 members. I am also the Marketing officer of LSE Chinese Society,; I have pitched for sponsorship and have organiszed the UK Joint University Hong Kong Careers Fair for over 500 participants. I have honed my communication, leadership, and team working skills through woparkticipating as a team. Furthermore, I have paenterticipated in competitions that allow me to explore my interests in the financial industry. I took part in the UK Investment Banking Series: M&A Challenge, where I produced a pitch book with valuation analysis on Aer Lingus’s acquisition by the International Airlines Group. My interests within markets grew when I pitched for Pfizer as a US Fund analyst at the LSE Investment Society. I formulated a pitch book through stock-pitching, research, and analysis of the US pharmaceutical industry. This brought me tremendous excitement and satisfaction after my team successfully convinced investors to buy Pfizer and was allocated $40,000 from the virtual fund. Furthermore, I have taken part in trading simulations, case studies, and networking sessions during the SEO London First Year Fast Track Investment Banking Programme and have gained invaluable insights intof the financial markets. Moreover, I participated in the JP Morgan Portfolio Investment Challenge, and was one of the top 180 participants out of 915 and have achieved an efficiency ratio above the 70th percentile mark.
