Industrial states experienced rapid urbanization after the industrial revolution. According to the image of the eEarth at night, the major cities in the world are located in the nNortheast, and the wWest cCoast of the United States, far eastern countries like Japan, and Korea, Nthe northern part of India, a few places in the mMiddle eEast, and a big part in the European nations like France, Germany, Luxembourg, etc. This pattern tells that urbanization first occurred in developed and economically rich countries because there are no major cities located in the African continents, only just a few. Therefore, urbanization occurred in those countries, where people exercise much freedom, economic prosperity, and equality. The map also shows that urbanization was slowly stretching in the developing countries.

Industrial states experience
sd rapid urbanization following the industrial revolution because people startsed moving to the city, women entered into the work force, technology replace thed manual labor, and the advancement of the market economy alondg with a strong system of social stratification. I think demographic transition in the United States is mainly because of Wwars; many soldiers died and many returned home handicapped and disabled. Therefore, it is one of the reasons of rapid urbanization in the United States.
