The
mMan with the gGolden gGun is the 12twelfth novel of the James bBond series. It was published in the United Kingdom on the first of April 1965. The story hwas bethen made into a stocreenplay, it was publremishedring on the 19th of December 1974 and became a big success.

The main character of the
mMan with the gGolden gGunm is the clever agent, James bBond, it's his duty to maintain the safety of the people. I couldan identify myself with James bBond because iI gothad sympathy for him while reading the book. Another important character of the book is Francisco Scaramanga, whom I couldn't identify myself with him because he’s an ruthless assassin without many emotions. I did not ghavet sympathy for Scaramanga because he is a man who kills innocent people for money.

The book is written from the third person subjective perspective,
twhis perspectiveh made the book much more interesting and much easier to read. Because of the thrird person subjective perspective, you couldan not only read the things James Bond said, but also his feelings, thoughts, understandings, wonders and fears. That’s another reason why iI couldan identify myself with James Bond. The book was easy to read, I really liked the writing style and the topic of the book.

The
mMan with the gGolden gGun is one of the best books iI have ever read. iIt is a very exciting book, every chapter was an new adventure, this made me read the book all at once. The topic of the book and the storyline are appropriate for adolescents and adults. Atonement is the main theme of the book, that is why James Bond goes on mission. iI have never read a book with this theme before but i twas a pleasure to read. the adventurous storyline was the best thing about the book. If iI could change one thing, it would be the beginning of the book. The writing could make this part much more interesting. I would recommend the mMan with the gGolden gGun to everyone who likes a spy fiction book full of action and adventures.
