Nowadays, cat owners, thinking about the wayways of feeding their animals, have a choice between the food they prepare at home from the basic raw materials and the food prepared industriallycommercially. In the past few years, the use of computercomputers in animal nutrition has gradually increased. By their increasing its capabilities and improved software, calculating feed rations and minimizationminimizing their time of layinglying around could be easily performed. Knowledge of the specific characteristics and nutritional requirements of cats is essential for the proper establishment of a balanced nutritional dose. In the presented work an analysis of available feeding methods was carried out, describing the specific requirements and nutritional behaviorrequirements of cats, and their need for nutrients, minerals and vitamins were described.
